Always moving forward!

IMG_20170308_112658_339I would like to start today’s blog out with a quote.  “Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail”.  Thank you, Charles Kettering!  So today my Google Assistant (on my phone) sent me this nice quote and it couldn’t have come at a better time…

I just found out that the company that I work for (corporate 9-5 day job) is downsizing and I will have around 3 months before I am “unemployed”.  Now, I have been avidly working on my fitness business and planned on resigning at some point this year anyway, but this was still a shock!  So instead of freaking out, I am looking at this as my “let’s get moving” opportunity to really sink my teeth into my business and show the world what I have to offer!

You may be wondering what in the world this has to do with “health and fitness”, but let me explain.  Emotional health is just as important as physical health and well-being. When we look at stress and the effects it has on the body, it can be very detrimental! It can lead to all sorts of disorders, aches, and pains (everyone carries their stress around in different area’s of their body) like the stomach (leading to ulcers) and back (shoulder and neck pain).

So after learning about this “news” regarding my full-time job with benefits that helps support my family, I did not panic or freak out, instead, I thought about what need to do in order to have a full-time fitness business instead!

I know wholeheartedly because I am working towards my goals and the bigger picture for my family, that I am on the right track and EVERYTHING will work out.

So the next time you’re in a stressful situation, whatever it may be, try not to overthink it and freak out!  Find someone you trust to talk to and share the burden (trust me it helps).

Be rational about whatever it is that’s stressing you out and take the time to figure it out.

Now I’m off to bust my hump and really get this biz started ;).
